Can't use dropbox

Hey guys. i sent my laptop in for repair and can not use dropbox on the pc i am currently using. If i get any work done i'll upload pics to photobucket to share, but thats all i can do for now. i also can not connect to chat at this time. if you need me to do something, you'll have to tell me here

Ya. same here. im on dialup, so I`ll have to be  told what maps to do probably through this tOpic. If you get any ideas, you gotta tell us through this thread ok

Just work on mapping, Nixt. Make multi-player maps. Maps are what we need most of right now.

i am trying to work on my test map. my problem is i forgot to make a back up of our wad and fgd files. i'll need sarge to email me them for me to map correctly

yes i realize its a double post, but seeing as im GM, deal with it Tongue

I finished the weapons portion of my testing map. it has a room of shooting ranges (needs some targets, could you code something for this duke?)
another room has some dummy things (just place holders, duke could you code something for those too? then we could animate them to shake when they are hit) for melee weapons. it also has this weird thing in the center that looks like it'd be for a cage match lol idk why its there. then lastly is a small target for the throwable melee weapons.
this all fits in a relatively small space, less than half the map, so i am going to make a small vehicle test coarse on the other half. maybe a flat road, a bumpy round, flat turns, banked curves, hills, ramps, etc. so we can test all the physics of ground vehicles. air vehicles will most likely be a different map unless this runs with relatively fast fps. i might be able to make an air test coarse also, but i'm going to focus on ground first.

Ive started working on a map that is up in the mountains. An Urban mountain map. there is a small village and a ski area. I will post pics later. I`m basically done. Do you want me to send it via email or sendspace here?

that sounds cool. are you a part of the team or just helping out?

ok. what do you think about this test map? i'm not sure if it was a good idea or not to place every testable thing except AI into one map in terms of FPS. i guess we'll just have to find out.

oh and duke, i realized something. i dont think you animated the way a m4 reloads right. from what i've seen there isnt a slide on the side. its a flap that flips down when a shell ejects. you pull a thing on the top instead. you might want to look into that.

THANKS MAN! ( I can`t wait till Duke reads xD) How will I submit my map? And I also started  anew map. It has tents and Its kinda like a camp ground. But as I work, it may change

i'd like to know somethings about them,
how big are they and are they for pc or psp?
how many players do you think could play on one map? (quake is 8, but we could change it to 12 or 16, we could possibly even make it depend on the map how many players, just your decision tho)
